Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Integrated Photonics Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and team-based research to develop components for a heterogeneous quantum network
• Lead the design, simulation, and optimization of integrated photonic devices for quantum applications
• Interface integrated photonics with light sources and detectors, contributing to scalable quantum devices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics, applied physics, or a closely related technical field; Master's or PhD preferred
• Expertise in the design and simulation of integrated photonic devices for quantum technologies
• Experience with photonic device design software (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL)
• Hands-on experience with integrated photonics tape-outs and fabrication processes
• Strong understanding of quantum optics and information science
