Job Summary
A social media company is in need of a Remote Integrity and New Legal Obligations Director and Associate General Counsel.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working as a strong, cross-functional partner with legal teams
- Leading and growing an additional team of lawyers who serve as the primary coordinating function between subject matter experts
- Providing product, engineering, and other business teams with counsel in support of minimizing real world harm
Qualifications for this position include:
- 12+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Experience working independently and cross-functionally
- Experience managing other lawyers
- Experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
