Job Summary
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Intellectual Property and Technology Corporate Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Protect company innovations by drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Engage with the technical development team leaders to stay abreast of planned projects and product changes
- Support initiatives to regularly review, identify and enforce patents against third party infringers
Position Requirements Include:
- BS/BA or higher in mechanical, biochemical, etc, or physics and JD Degree from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated strong leadership and relationship building skills
- Deep experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications and conducting freedom to operate assessments
- Demonstrated broad business orientation and successful ability to partner legal skills with business goals
- Proven ability to interpret and summarize regulatory requirements, by jurisdiction, to provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders
