Remote Interactive Art Director

Job Summary

An academic publishing company is filling a position for a Remote Interactive Art Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the front-end design of our student and educator platforms
• Collaborate with and providing direction to a small team of Interactive Designers
• Participate in concept development with editorial, design, and development teams

Required Skills:

• Significant, direct experience art directing compelling visual content, preferably for educators and students in the math instruction space
• Track record of creating innovative and thoughtful products that improve user experience
• Experienced in using research to drive creative decisions
• Strong visual thinker with the ability to art direct for a variety of age groups
• Detail oriented, able to prioritize and produce quality work under tight deadlines
• Strong information design and communication design skills
