Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Internal Claims Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with client contract criteria and requirements while maintaining accuracy in claims processing
- Conduct targeted audits of claims processing and quality audits of claims staff and system logic
- Perform audits of new client setups in claims processing software and run access queries as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare or managed care industry, with claims/reimbursement experience
- 1-3 years of auditing experience in the healthcare industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and Access
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local healthcare compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
