Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Internal Claims Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with client contract criteria and requirements while maintaining accuracy in claims processing
• Conduct targeted audits of claims processing and quality audits of claims staff and system logic
• Perform audits of new client setups in claims processing software and run access queries as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare or managed care industry, with claims/reimbursement experience
• 1-3 years of auditing experience in the healthcare industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and Access
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local healthcare compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
