Remote International Legal Consultant

Job Summary

A non profit organization is seeking a Remote International Legal Consultant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing draft legislation based on the recommendations of working group
• Organizing a workshop for presenting the results of the national/regional legal report
• Developing regional studies and comparative legal analysis

Skills and Requirements Include:

• University degree in Law. Advanced degree will be an asset
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in agriculture, health and/or environmental legislation
• For Consultants working knowledge of English, French or Spanish and limited knowledge of one of the other two or Arabic, Chinese, Russian
• Work experience in more than one location or area of work
• Experience in legal analysis and legal drafting in areas related to food, agriculture or the environment
