Job Summary

Seeking Tigrinya, Oromo, and Amharic Remote Interpreters, the contract position offers flexible scheduling for over-the-phone interpretation services, primarily in medical and other industries, allowing interpreters to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephonic interpretation services for various industries, including medical, insurance, and customer service
• Utilize an online portal or landline to log on and off, managing your own schedule for 24/7 client needs
• Complete a Language Assessment and maintain compliance with legal work requirements in the United States

Required qualifications

• Must reside in the United States and possess a valid SSN or EIN and Photo ID
• Prior interpreting experience is preferred
• Ability to work as an independent contractor with flexible hours
• Completion of a Language Assessment is mandatory
• Not accepting applications from residents of New York, New Jersey, or California
