Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Interventional Radiology Coding Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assigning appropriate diagnosis, procedure, modifier and other codes
- Meeting or exceeding departmental productivity and quality standards
- Researching and resolving coding and documentation questions utilizing appropriate resources
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- CCS or CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
- Must have at least 2 years of active IVR coding experience
- Must include 2 years experience coding Gamma Knife procedures
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
