Job Summary

Be the subject matter expert on investment related matters involving day-to-day accounting is filling a position for a Remote Investment Accounting and Reporting Associate Vice President.

Must be able to:

  • Lead and manage asset impairment analysis process, documentation and decisions
  • Lead and manage the investment accounting close process for fixed income securities
  • Lead finance departmental efforts in analyzing new hedging programs with business units

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 15+ years of strong investment accounting and reporting experience under both US GAAP and Statutory accounting bases
  • Prior experience in developing Investment Forecasting models
  • Be the subject matter expert on investment related matters involving day-to-day accounting
  • Strong understanding of derivative markets derivative products
  • Ability to identify accounting issues impacting investment results and performance
