Job Summary

An animal health company has an open position for a Remote iOS Associate Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and developing software for successful project completion
  • Ensuring long term viability of the code base
  • Responding as necessary to operational emergencies, possibly after working hours

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Desire and skill for web development in PHP and jQuery
  • Proficiency programming with database servers, preferably MySQL or MongoDB
  • Proficiency programming with relevant network protocols, such as HTTP or RabbitMQ
  • Daily experience in the Unix software stack and command line interface
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of field experience
