A not-for-profit healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Ip Medical Coding Technician in Oak Brook.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform coding duties as assigned
- Perform related tasks as assigned
Qualifications for this position include:
- Able to travel to other hospital sites, corporate settings and seminar locations
- Registered Health Information Technician with associates degree
- 1~2 years of recent acute care hospital inpatient or outpatient coding experience
- Achieve satisfactory score on Advocate's coding test
- Ability to interpret regulatory and payor rules and directives concerning coding
- Computer experience
