Job Summary
A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote IS Distribution Assistant General Counsel 1.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing legal and regulatory matters
- Negotiating difficult disputes with third parties that may have a significant impact to the company
- Working on complex problems where analysis requires identification and evaluation of multiple issues
Position Requirements Include:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Eight years or more of relevant legal experience
- Retail broker-dealer experience
- Experience with retail and wholesale life, annuities and mutual fund distribution
- Experience with insurance regulators and securities regulators, including FINRA and the SEC
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, with the intended audience
