Job Summary
An information technology and services company has a current position open for a Remote IT and Services Legal Editor II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Researching, identifying, and tracking proposed federal, state, and local labor and employment legislation
- Analyzing and reporting on federal, state, and local labor and employment legislation, regulations, and court cases
- Creating, reviewing, auditing, updating, and editing legal content in our products to ensure accuracy of information and usability
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Active state bar license (any state)
- 3+ years of experience in legal research and writing and/or legal publishing related to employment laws
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Understanding of the legislative and judicial system as it relates to determining applicability of judicial decisions and legislation
- Ability to establish priorities, plan work, and meet required deadlines while being consistently flexible
