Job Summary
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote IT Customer Support Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing world class support for our customers
- Investigating and resolving issues
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert for existing or new Product
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to attend conferences and meet with team members from across the globe
- 2+ years of support or equivalent experience in a customer facing role
- Basic understanding of Computer Networks (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS/SSL)
- Fundamental knowledge of web programming and standards
- Experience with any server side programming
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX or Mac Terminal command-line and simple scripting
