Remote IT Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
A residential care agency has an open position for a Remote IT Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving the migration of on-prem infrastructure platforms and services to the Azure cloud
- Architecting & implementing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution leveraging Microsoft Azure
- Leveraging automation and modern deployment methodologies in a container-based environment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 2-5 years of experience as an Infrastructure technical lead or a similar role
- BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and migrating physical infrastructure to the cloud. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
- 5-10 years of experience in a technical position in Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, DevOps or a similar role
- In depth understanding of network technologies, TCP/IP, OSI, SDWAN and Zero Trust
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
