Job Summary

An IT company is filling a position for a Remote IT Procurement Specialist in Houston.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Resolving product issues with vendors and dispute or return products
  • Maintaining multiple supply chains with different key vendors for diversity
  • Requesting quotes from a variety of vendors to negotiate best pricing terms

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills including presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT field, procurement, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
  • Excellent business application skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint etc)
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data, then reporting on data to decision makers
