Job Summary
A pharmaceutical and genetic research company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote IT Project Management Office Associate Director .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Defining and managing our IT Project and Portfolio management methodologies, IT forecast reporting and analytics tools, and training to support analytical insights for tracking and measuring IT Program Performance
- Aligning and planning of IT services and capacity to support the longer-term strategic plan for the company.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with IT Leadership and key business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in IT capability
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience (12+ years) creating and managing PMOs in a biotech or pharma environment
- A degree in Management of Information Systems or related field with 12+ years’ experience building and managing information technology orgs within FDA/EMA regulated companies
- Experience creating and executing an IT vision including developing long and short-term strategic IT plans, associated financial analyses and translating budgeted plans into tactical, actionable operational initiatives – including change management strategy and execution
- Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency by the implementation of technology
- Innovative and strategic thinker with strong business acumen to apply an enterprise IT perspective and leverage broad, state-of-the-art technology awareness that can be applied creatively to business problems and opportunities
