Job Summary

An IT support and consulting company is seeking a Remote IT Project Management Senior Advisor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Acting as technical accessibility SME liaison to the Software Engineering and QA teams
  • Advocating for and educate technology teams about accessibility best practices
  • Conducting and supporting accessibility testing efforts, automated and manual

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • 5+ years of experience in accessible (508/WCAG) analysis, development and/or testing
  • Subject Matter Expertise in WCAG 2.0, Section 508, ADA, accessibility laws and standards
  • Knowledge of correct use and limitations of WAI-ARIA in web application development
  • Experience using Accessibility testing tools as well as screen readers
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and iOS/Android development best practices
