Job Summary
To support a growing K-12 educational environment, the Remote IT Support Specialist will provide first-line technical assistance to students and parents, troubleshoot device issues, and maintain support documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for technical issues, responding through various communication channels
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops and tablets, guiding families step by step
- Maintain current support documentation and track support volume for reporting purposes
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of end-user support experience, preferably in an educational or service environment
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly under stress
- Practical troubleshooting skills for devices and software across multiple platforms
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekend coverage
- Reliable home setup with a quiet workspace and strong internet connection
