Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coding acute care outpatient charts
• Maintaining working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles
• Maintain current professional credentials

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
• Minimum five years medical coding experience
• Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Working knowledge of Correct Coding Initiatives
