Job Summary
A provider of an online platform for foreign language learning has an open position for a Remote Japanese Materials Writer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Plan and create Japanese language lesson content, applying best pedagogical and instructional design principles for digital language learning
- Help to maintain and improve company’s current Japanese language courses
- Contribute to syllabus planning for future courses
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language
- C2 level mastery of the Japanese language
- Advanced proficiency (C1 or above) in English
- Masters-level qualification in languages, linguistics or education
- Experience creating lesson content and planning your own lessons
- Deep understanding of Japanese grammar and the challenges of Japanese for beginners
