Job Summary

A company that provides health, wealth and investment solutions has an open position for a Remote Java Azure Technical Lead.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading design, development, migration and implementation of several complex web based java applications
  • Supporting Architecture team in defining the technology roadmaps for the applications
  • Understanding the business needs and converting them into Technology and cloud architecture fit

Required Skills:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience building software applications using Java/J2EE technology
  • 7+ years of experience in building Microservices/APIs to be exposed internally and externally
  • 2+ years of experience with migrating Java applications to the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
  • Proven knowledge across a broad spectrum of Web technologies
  • Knowledge in jBoss Application Server
