Job Summary

A financial services company is in need of a Remote Java Cloud Software Development Consultant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting Architecture team in defining the technology roadmaps for the applications
  • Leading design, development, migration and implementation of several complex web based java applications
  • Estimating the amount of work related to completion of the given work, with 95% accuracy

Required Skills:

  • Proven knowledge across a broad spectrum of Web technologies
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent plus 10+ years hand on experience
  • Knowledge in jBoss Application Server
  • Certified Solution Architect for Azure from Microsoft and other certifications in Azure technologies
  • 7+ experience in building Micro Services / APIs to be exposed internally and externally with highest performance levels
  • Understanding of SQL for DB2/UDB database and Oracle 10G/11G databases and SQL Server
