Remote Java Developer

Job Summary

Seeking early career Remote Java Developers for a contract role, who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform legacy business communications and support existing systems, utilizing core Java technologies and Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Transform legacy business communications and data reporting through collaboration with business leaders and engineers
• Support existing systems to ensure performance during transition periods
• Implement enterprise solutions focusing on agentic AI workflows and cloud telephony automation

Required qualifications:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in Java development within production systems
• Expertise in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x
• Experience with REST API design and Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda and DynamoDB
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with a preference for Extreme Programming (XP) experience
