A staffing company is in need of a Remote Java Developer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Digging in and understanding code in order to re-implement the business logic in a new program
  • Rewriting a number of Visual Basic programs in Java

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience working on a Unix/Linux operating system is a must
  • Min 2 years of Visual Basicexperience
  • Min 4 years of Java experience
  • Java, Visual Basic and Linux are the key technical skills needed
  • Will be required to rewrite Visual Basic code in Java on Linux
