Job Summary

An IT consulting company has a current position open for a Remote Java Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Being involved in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications
  • Ensuring technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development
  • Developing applications using Java, J2EE, REST, SOAP, Spring-boot

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 6+ years hands on experience with core Java & J2EE skills and well versed on design patterns and related frameworks
  • Experience in Spring-Boot and Microservices
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies
  • Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Paired Programming Experience with PCF
  • Proven strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major preferred
