Job Summary

An IT strategy and consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Java in Test Software Development Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Use your technical skills and develop a quality assurance mindset and approach
  • Utilize your core software development skills to implement end-to-end automated testing
  • Work to seek out solutions to complex problems through iteration and collaboration

Required Skills:

  • 3 –5+ years writing code in Java programming language/frameworks
  • Test-driven development experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with API (RESTful) testing tools, such as Postman
  • Experience with continuous integration processes (ex: Git, pull requests, branching)
  • Ability to decipher and contribute to technical communication documents
