Job Summary

A financial services firm is in need of a Remote Java Platform Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Actively mentoring and training other associates in their area of expertise
  • Ensuring prudent use of the firm’s financial resources
  • Providing direction as to the effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred or related work experience
  • 7+ years of experience directly related to the technical area of expertise
  • Proficient in multiple programing languages, with focus on Java development and scripting
  • Practical knowledge of Microservices and designing/building REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Knowledge of software security scanning tools
