Job Summary

A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Java Spark Scala Senior IT Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Report missing elements found in system and functional requirements
  • Lead other technical staff within projects
  • Create code for complex, mostly new system designs

Position Requirements Include:

  • Hands-on experience with all of the following: Java, SQL, Postgres, DB2, Spark, Scala, Hive, OpenShift, Gitlab
  • 5+ years' experience in coding software
  • Experience mentoring / or leading other development staff
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field
