Job Summary

A full-service mortgage services company is filling a position for a Remote Jumbo Forensic Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Underwriting review of Jumbo loan files to cure investor suspense conditions for timely purchase of loans which includes, but not limited to, credit report review, income calculation, asset analysis, and collateral assessment
• Reviewing compliance documentation to verify adherence with any federal and state laws
• Analyzing closing documentation such as mortgage note, HUD 1, TRID to ensure property executed, IPCs are not excessive, and fees are within federal/state tolerances

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience with exposure to both manual and automated underwriting environments
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A minimum of 2 years of recent Jumbo underwriting experience with knowledge of multiple Jumbo investor guidelines
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of transaction components that impede the purchase of loan by private investor
