Job Summary

A mortgage company has an open position for a Remote Jumbo Mortgage Underwriter in Vancouver.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications for risks and various criteria
  • Calculate qualifying income
  • Review residential appraisals

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of recent Jumbo products experience
  • Strong working knowledge of ATR/QM Requirements
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements
  • Knowledge of closing, post-closing and quality control responsibilities
