Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Jumbo Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter in the Oakland Area.

Must be able to:

  • Assess the risk of a loan and making a credit decision based on the quality of the data in the loan file
  • Determine specific investor program requirements and ensure credit underwriting review meets investor requirements
  • Review credit documents for accuracy and completeness

Required Skills:

  • Able train in the Corporate Office for 1 to 2 weeks
  • Minimum of 5 years-experience with complex borrower business structures
  • Minimum of 5 years recent Jumbo, Non-QM and/or Portfolio type underwriting experience
  • Recent experience underwriting alternative income documentation such as bank statements or assets-based underwriting
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Wholesale experience
  • Recent experience underwriting Investor or Business Purpose loan programs
