Job Summary
A leader in veterinary diagnostics, veterinary practice software and water microbiology testing is seeking a Remote Junior Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Calculating, preparing and posting recurring and non-recurring journal entries
- Analyzing account balances, investigating unusual items, determining necessary adjustments
- Reviewing and posting journal entries
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience
- Understanding of applicable accounting rules and regulations
- Strong knowledge of data, databases and data mining and manipulation, if applicable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented
