Job Summary

A management consulting firm is seeking a Remote Junior Data Analyst in Alexandria.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Grow analytical and SQL skills working with a small team of experienced professionals
  • Support building a new Azure cloud-based data warehouse
  • Design data models, write SQL code and work with Business Intelligence tools

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • This junior-level, full-time position is a remote opportunity, with infrequent travel to Alexandria, VA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • 3 years of software development experience
  • Experience supporting large Cabinet-level federal agencies
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, plus R, Python or other related data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of SQL Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes and writing custom SQL code
