Job Summary
A company providing online IT courses is in need of a Remote Junior Data and Analytics Platform DevOps Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing flexible infrastructure to promote Developer self-service, while promoting continuity across our overall environment
- Championing continual improvement in the areas of resiliency, reliability and performance
- Collaborating with the Ops and DevOps teams, as well as Security, IT, and Software Engineers
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Familiarity with core AWS features and familiarity with working in the AWS Console
- Systems administration skills for Linux
- Strong desire to learn about data related systems and ideally an understanding of Kafka or other message broker
- Experience in automation and the development of automation tools
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment methodologies/pipelines
- Knowledge of network security and system performance
