Job Summary
An IT and engineering firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Junior Java Software Developer.
Must be able to:
- Develop Java EE applications on Weblogic Application Server for highly available, 24 7, and scalable systems on Linux/Unix platforms
- Implement data modeling concepts, ERD design and development
- Develop enterprise Java solutions following standard/best practices including Object Oriented Analysis and Design and design patterns
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- US Citizenship and current DOD position of Trust (Public Trust); DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Possession of ComTia Security+ Certification
- Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems including knowledge of data modeling concepts, ERD design and development
- Experience in developing enterprise Java solutions following standard/best practices including Object Oriented Analysis and Design and design patterns
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree
