Job Summary
A financial services company is seeking a Remote Junior Mortgage Underwriter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Resolving discrepancies by explaining what information/documentation is required to resolve the issue
- Maintaining a consistent process for following-up on loans that require further review
- Managing a pipeline report of loans to consistently meet internal and external service level agreements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to positively impact MiMutual and its Operations Department
- Intermediate knowledge of compliance regulations and underwriting guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers and team mates
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Desktop Underwriting, Loan Prospector, etc
- Advanced customer service skills
