Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Junior Mortgage Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Review and analyze conditions relating to credit/income/asset documentation
• Meet quality underwriting standards/benchmarks
• Meet minimal production as established by the National Underwriting Manager

Position Requirements Include:

• Attend industry education classes as assigned by the National Underwriting Manager
• Must have excellent organizational and team-building skills
• A minimum of 5 years processing experience of Conventional and Government loans or 2nd mortgage lien underwriting experience
• Strong overall computer skills (i.e., MS Office, automated underwriting systems)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability and be detail-oriented
