Job Summary
A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Junior Mortgage Underwriter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review and analyze conditions relating to credit/income/asset documentation
- Meet quality underwriting standards/benchmarks
- Meet minimal production as established by the National Underwriting Manager
Position Requirements Include:
- Attend industry education classes as assigned by the National Underwriting Manager
- Must have excellent organizational and team-building skills
- A minimum of 5 years processing experience of Conventional and Government loans or 2nd mortgage lien underwriting experience
- Strong overall computer skills (i.e., MS Office, automated underwriting systems)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability and be detail-oriented
