Job Summary
A mortgage lender and finance company has an open position for a Remote Junior Post Closing Underwriter.
Must be able to:
- Verify income, credit, assets, and employment for accuracy prior to purchase by investor
- Provide guidance in answering underwriting questions received from internal co-workers
- Review suspense underwriting conditions received from Purchase Clearing Coordinators and Auditors
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge and understanding of TILA, RESPA and Predatory Lending
- Knowledge and understanding of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines
- Knowledge and understanding of FHA\VA\USDA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
- Knowledge and understanding of various fraud tools
- Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices
- Knowledge and understanding of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
