Job Summary

An independent, third-party retirement administration company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Junior Retirement Accountant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining bank and credit card registers accurately, recording large volumes of transactions
• Understanding and applying departmental and subsidiary coding structures
• Updating and maintaining customer information, including name changes and contact information

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ year of relevant experience
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and period matching
• Proficiency in Excel
