Job Summary
A science and technology solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Junior Storage Operations System Administrator in Silver Spring.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, managing, and upgrading all servers
- Coordinating troubleshooting of all servers in the Field locations
- Testing, validating, and deploying all hardware and software functionality updates
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Experience performing configuration and operation of systems
- Experience optimizing system operation and resource utilization
- SolarWinds and native server monitoring tools, BigFix, SCCM, ServiceNow
- Familiarity with Virtualization, particularly Vmware/Vsphere
