Job Summary
A communications systems provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Junior System Technician.
Must be able to:
- Perform installation and maintenance of Avaya/Cisco/Nortel Systems and associated equipment
- Perform software and firmware updates to IP stations and associated IP station equipment
- Provide cutover support, out of hours testing and support whenever called upon
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to be trained on customer and/or C1 ticketing system
- 2-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical related field is required
- Two or more years' experience in the installation and maintenance of Avaya, cisco or Nortel equipment
- One or more years of PBX system administration experience is required
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- All other requirements necessary for this position
