Job Summary
A financial service and insurance agency is filling a position for a Remote Junior Web Services Java Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Installing, customizing and integrating commercial software packages
- Performing defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues and/or codes applications of medium complexity
- Receiving work packages from manager and/or delegates
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years of software engineering/development experience utilizing Java with experience working with RESTful Web Service
- Bachelor's degree or Certification or 4 additional years of I/T experience beyond the minimum required in lieu of a degree
- Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements
