Job Summary

A global technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Kafka Admin Senior Cloud Engineer.

Must be able to:

• Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures
• Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance
• Handle all Kafka environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup

Qualifications Include:

• 4+ years of solid Kafka Admin experience in managing critical 24/7 applications
• Strong background in commercial-grade software development
• Ability to work with development teams to deliver high-quality software
• Experience with AWS architectures, development, and deployment
• Strong experience with Kafka
• Working knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark
