Job Summary

A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Kafka Developer in Marietta.

Must be able to:

  • Conduct upgrades of brokers hosting high-volume, zero-downtime data streams
  • Utilize tools such as kafkacat, kafka-manager and the kafka bin utility scripts
  • Operate Kafka in a production environment

Qualifications Include:

  • Has extensive experience with the Ansible automation framework
  • Developed custom ansible-playbooks for executing complex deployment and management tasks
  • Has extensive linux/unix shell scripting experience
  • Has experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
  • Has experience with Prometheus and Grafana
  • Has experience/familiarity with the Go programming language
