Job Summary
An insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Kafka Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Be a technical leader on the Real Time Data Streaming team within Enterprise Integration Services
- Provide production support and participate in cross technology training
- Perform capacity planning, and compatibility forecasting of our software components
Position Requirements Include:
- Associate's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math or related field
- Minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software component
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software
- Connecting applications with AWS, including experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Route 53, and KMS
- Experience with application security and hardening (like SSL and Key Management) desired
- Experience scripting with Bash, Python, and Java preferred
