Job Summary

A computer software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Kafka Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy highly-available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points
  • Actively review code and provide peer feedback

Required Skills:

  • Strong engineering background with the ability to design software systems from the ground up
  • Strong experience programming in Java and may have some experience programming in Python
  • A product mindset
  • Familiarity with big data streaming, pub/sub, and/or event-based technologies
  • Design not just with a mind for solving a problem
