Job Summary

Working remotely as an Independent Contractor, the International Audio/Video Remote Karen and Thai Interpreter will handle audio and video calls on demand, facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient community in various settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality standards

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in English, Karen, and Thai
• Proficiency in technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• Access to a quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or training (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
