Job Summary
A nonprofit media company is in need of a Remote Keystone Reporter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Pitching and writing 1-3 aggregated or blog pieces per day
- Pitching, reporting and writing 1-2 commodity/enterprise stories per week
- Developing articles with a mind on how that work will best reach readers on multiple social media platforms
Qualifications for this position include:
- An active presence on one or more of these social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
- An interest in, or prior experience, working in a fast-growth startup environment
- 3-5 years experience in a newsroom environment, pitching, reporting, and writing articles and covering events on a deadline
