A staffing and recruiting firm specializing in creative, digital, and marketing solutions has a current position open for a Remote Knit Clothing Designer in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Manage design process from conception through final styling
- Perform market research, conceptual presentations, design and guidance through fabric, print, spec and fit
- Research markets in order to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques
Skills and Requirements Include:
- College degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 4 - 6 years design experience with Cut & Sew Knits, Activewear and Elevated Lounge
- Strong computer knowledge including Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to sketch by hand/illustrate by hand/and illustrate with illustrator
- Strong knowledge of construction, fitting, understanding of fabrications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
